Well..... You'll find Crear near a place called Kilberry, about a 2 hour drive from Glasgow, over the Erskine Bridge up past Loch Lomond, Loch Fyne, Inverary and beyond.... Don't worry we'll give you detailed directions! It's a lovely lovely drive through Scotland. If any of you haven't been there before, it really is a beautiful drive so don't worry!

We have officially paid our deposit on our wedding venue! We decided that we are doing it up at Crear in Scotland from Friday March 11th 2011 - Monday 14th March 2011 (The ceremony on the Saturday) So keep your diaries free!

This evening I quite like these colours BUT I keep changing my mind... CONSTANTLY. I think maybe these look a little drab, but there is something i've always loved about a slate grey, acid yellow and a light teal.
Somehow to me (maybe it's because i'm a designer) the idea of lettering excites me (sad but true!)
Bit random, but I quite like these vintage button cards. Maybe the invitations could have buttons incorporated somehow... hmm..
I like the idea of having lots of different vases and tins on the table with simple wild flowers in. Loving the little white daisies, they make me smile :-)
We thought it would be a nice idea to serve crusty bread in old apple crates. Old Skool back in the day man!

We've totally fallen in love with a converted barn called Crear near Kilberry in Scotland, the people are lovely, the views are amazing... the place is pretty much perfect (It's just a little bit further than London)!
The venue sleeps 12 people in 6 bedrooms and has a huge hall/barn which you can fit up to 100 people in for the reception. You basically hire the venue for 3 days and the feeling of the wedding would be like an extended house party.
Granted, it IS in the middle of nowhere, but we can't think of anything better than all of you coming up and spending a few days with the people closest to us.
I'll upload some more images over the next few days, we're both SO excited!
