Colours

This evening I quite like these colours BUT I keep changing my mind... CONSTANTLY. I think maybe these look a little drab, but there is something i've always loved about a slate grey, acid yellow and a light teal.

Somehow to me (maybe it's because i'm a designer) the idea of lettering excites me (sad but true!)

Bit random, but I quite like these vintage button cards. Maybe the invitations could have buttons incorporated somehow... hmm..

Milk vases or tins on tables?

I like the idea of having lots of different vases and tins on the table with simple wild flowers in. Loving the little white daisies, they make me smile :-)

Crear, Kilberry, Scotland

We've totally fallen in love with a converted barn called Crear near Kilberry in Scotland, the people are lovely, the views are amazing... the place is pretty much perfect (It's just a little bit further than London)!

The venue sleeps 12 people in 6 bedrooms and has a huge hall/barn which you can fit up to 100 people in for the reception. You basically hire the venue for 3 days and the feeling of the wedding would be like an extended house party.

Granted, it IS in the middle of nowhere, but we can't think of anything better than all of you coming up and spending a few days with the people closest to us.

I'll upload some more images over the next few days, we're both SO excited!

So, Steve and I are getting married! I've decided to put this blog together so that people can finally see how we are getting on and what we are thinking about doing, as so many people keep asking me questions...

It may seem slightly bridezilla, I know some of you will love that I have turned bridezilla (Mel) and Steve's probably saying see I told you that you'd become 'one of them' but what the hell, you only do this once (I hope!)
